Scorpions are considered arachnids, but a main difference between them and your average spider is that they give live birth. In addition, scorpions don't get along well with their children...Or with AJ.
Transcript of How Do Scorpions Reproduce
Scorpions are actually considered arachnids. The difference between spiders and scorpions are that scorpions actually give live birth. Once the female has been fertilized and those babies are born, they'll actually climb on top of the mother and ride around on back of the mother until their first molting stage. Female scorpions have been known to reach over, grab one of their babies when they get hungry and pop it into their mouth. And it will tie them over for another couple of weeks.
