Depending on the area you live in, cockroaches can range in color and size. Some cockroaches are a lighter brown, while others are a darker brown or reddish and some will sort of band-type of effect. Like a darker brown stripe around the back. Some have longer wings, or more pronounced wings, while some you can barely tell that they have wings. They all have antennae in common and they all share that same oblong shape.
