Scorpions actually hunt by vibration they'll sit in small cracks and crevices of walls or the floor joints and they will wait for smaller insects or moths to fly by. When they feel that vibration on the ground they will reach out grab the insect, sting it, and neutralize it with its neurotoxin and then drag back inside the wall and consume it.
