So here we are in the basement next to an exterior wall underneath the utility room now the utility room has a lot of well it's got a lot of water pipes coming in and out of the room its got hot water as well which is what we see along here now the hot water pipe can oftentimes have condensation small amounts but condensation around the pipe which allows for different organisms to thrive in the basement with the added water that's what this homeowner has been experiencing he's been seeing some larger black roaches up in his upstairs locations particularly in the area of the utility room and so we came in to investigate and what we found is that there really is an infestation in the basement its really emanating from the basement so if you pass control company is not inspecting and seeing where the real problems are spraying around the foundation and on a monthly basis or something they're not gonna get to the source the problem it's a sewer roach issue because of the droppings now this a spider web, some enterprising spider thought he would catch some roaches will what you mostly caught was the roach droppings, this is actually fecal matter from the roach population that is living somewhere in this area it drops down its found all over on the ground throughout this area and I know its not rodent droppings because the it it's a little smaller than what you find in a rodent dropping and the ends are blunt they're not pointy so I'm fairly confident that we have a oriental roach or a sewer roach population in this basement which can happen in the nicest of homes it just doesn't matter whether your dirty or not these organisms lived in the forest for thousands of years before this house was built So you know you can come to see how these spiders have kind of in prying off this population in both the spiders and the roaches have been pressuring the upstairs what's interesting is just to confirm my speculation I look in the web's now this is a roach season where in the middle of winter most of the spiders are dead but there is a part of an oriental cockroach so I know for a fact that that's really what we've got dealing with and what we do is lay down some baits in this area that the cockroaches would prefer to what they're currently eating which is probably paper or something that bathroom upstairs or that utility closet
