Ahwatukee AZ, (formally "Ahwatukee Foothills Village") is a neighborhood residing in Phoenix, Arizona. The neighborhood is located near South Mountain Park and Baseline Road. The area was named loosely after a Crow translation of the original name "House of Dreams" of a house built in 1921. The neighborhood covers an area of about 36 square miles with a population of around 78,000.
