Here we have an example of a wolf spider. These are typically pretty fast runners. Right now he is affected by an insecticide. They'll set up camp inside the weep holes; that's the gap between the bricks that is established by the builder to let moisture out of your wall. You can see his fine, little threads of web in there. Problem is, often times they lay their eggs and their baby spiders inside the walls and then you see them inside your house.

So how do all those little spiders get inside your home? The ones that kind of run along, jump along the grass, they hunt organisms like these pincher bugs and other insects down-deep right along the foundation where the grass meets the foundation. What happens though is that these running hunting spiders will set up camp inside what we call the weep hole. That's a gap between the bricks that allows moist air to escape your wall; that moist air draws insects in. They'll set up camp and nest back there and unfortunately when they lay their eggs their eggs are inside your wall two to six hundred babies will then hatch inside the wall and you'll start seeing little tiny spiders running around the corners of your home. You also see little cobwebs set up in the corners. This is where it comes from. Bulwark Exterminating is the #1 pest control option for keeping pests out of your home.

I consider Bulwark to be single-handedly responsible for my ability to remain a Texas resident. My years of renting in this fine state have made me a reluctant connoisseur of cockroaches. I really can't explain why I loathe cockroaches so, although I think their otherworldly speed and ability to masquerade under deceptively less-frightening aliases (Palmetto bug? Seriously? May as well name them Minnie and Mickie Roach) has something to do with it. The night I encountered my first flying cockroach was a) my own personal hell, and b) the night I decided that (in honor of Scarlett O'Hara) as God as my witness, I would never share my kitchen with a cockroach again. Honestly, I wasn't even sure it was possible-- we were renting a home from the 50s, and everyone had more or less told me that it was practically impossible to eradicate roaches from older construction. I read tons of online reviews and talked to friends and I found my way to Bulwark. After the first month of their treatment, we never saw a roach in our house again, something I cannot say for previous exterminators we tried. And I now feel safe at night walking into my kitchen and my bathroom. Happy ending.
