With today being Veterans Day, I want do something a little different then talk about the latest pest threat or pest related news story. Today I want to show our love and appreciation to the brave men and women who have so honorably and nobly sacrificed so much for our freedoms and liberties.
I felt it appropriate to reach out to all of the employees of Bulwark Exterminating and see if anybody wanted to pay tribute to a loved one who has served or is currently serving in the military.
Bulwark Salutes Veterans
The following service men and women are all relatives or loved ones of a Bulwark Exterminating employee:
Marine R. Stephen DeVincent
While I know many heroes who unselfishly serve our country, I would like to personally recognize my brother-in-law Steve. Steve is a Marine who is serving in Afghanistan while his wife (my sister) and young daughter are at home. We love you Steve! Thank you for your sacrifice.

Marine Sgt. Robert Bruce
I would like to pay tribute to Marine Sgt. Robert Bruce. Robert’s family lived next door to me, from the time he was born until graduating from high school and joined the Marines. In March of 2011, Robert was on his 4th deployment in Afghanistan. While on patrol one marine stepped on an IED, Robert went to help him and triggered another. The explosion amputated both of his legs from the knees down. With multiple surgeries and rehab Robert is able to walk again with the help of prosthetics.
I have always respected and admired those that serve for our country, but until then I didn’t realize what the men and women that serve are willing to endure to protect us.
Thank you all, for your service and dedication.

When it comes to protecting and defending our land, you are the only ones to raise a brave hand.
You leave your own families, you leave us all. To fight for our freedom and answer that call.
You march onto the battlefield with your heads held high. Your gleaming weapons ready and the flag pointed towards the sky.
Some may ask, "How do you fight? I would just run away and hide." The simple answer is, God is on our side.
So we know whenever we come to war, we can count on you to defend us just as before.
God gave you strength, bravery, and trust. He gave you the courage to save all of us.

Happy Veterans Day
All of us here at Bulwark Exterminating would like to wish everyone a happy Veterans Day. There are so many others who have nobly and unselfishly served. We are all truly indebted to those who have put their lives on the line to help protect our freedom, liberties, and these United States.
We live in the greatest country in the world; the land of the free because of the brave. Only real heroes can do what you do.
To all those who serve our country, THANK YOU! Thank you for your unselfish efforts. Thank you for serving our country selflessly. We salute you!
