The opening of “Iron Man 3” this last weekend marked the beginning of the summer movie season. It has finally arrived! There are some big movies we are all looking forward to this summer. “The Wolverine,” “Man of Steel,” “Fast & Furious 6,” “World War Z,” “Star Trek Into Darkness,” and “The Lone Ranger” have all peaked my interest.
The opening of “Iron Man 3” also marked a big weekend for Bulwark Exterminating. Bulwark débuted a video advertisement entitled “Roaches Eat Toothpaste” before the start of all of your favorite summer movies.
The funny and slightly disturbing video shows an adult cockroach, played by our very own Thomas Ballantyne, chowing down on gobs of toothpaste; something roaches are known to dine n from time to time. Yes, disgusting as it is, roaches do eat toothpaste. See for yourself:

Another installment of Bulwark Exterminating’s Roach Bits. Valentines Day Edition.
Valentine’s Day, Makes or Breaks Relationships each year,
Is the Love Bug on your side?
Can you imagine having all your painstaking Valentine’s day romantic work foiled by one small oversight?
A year ago some people thought it cute to offer a “Name a Roach for Valentine’s Day“. We thought this ill advised, as we have proof to the contrary that Valentine’s Day cockroaches are a bad idea, especially when handed to a women in a red container that looks like a chocolate filled heart box. It really isn’t a pretty site. So we have decided to demonstrate just how much a roach is not a love bug, and how much it could just be a romance killer. Hope you enjoy our video.
Roaches are the ultimate scavengers and can eat close to anything they can find around your house, among these things is toothpaste, namely the leftover residue on your brush after you clean your teeth. The thought makes you ask yourself if your feeding the roaches each time you leave your toothbrush by the sink. To show this Bulwark has put together a video perhaps over-dramatizing but showing just what the roaches may be doing when your not around.
Here in the united states we are a melting pot of cultures, but this does not apply to only humans. We have many different variety’s of roaches from all different reaches of the earth, our own variety, the american roach, has a few tell tale signs that help identify it. One of our top roach experts, Thomas Ballantyne, has been kind enough to show us how we can identify them.
We can all agree that there are few things more disgusting then a roach in the kitchen. But how do they get there? One of our roach fighting experts explains the how roaches can gain access to the house through our drains. Bulwark employee’s are trained not to miss a thing when they set up a barrier even the smallest points of entry.
-Bulwark Exterminating Texas Pest Control and Roach Control
“The worst day of my whole life. I’m here cleaning up from dinner and I feel something on my neck. I thought it was a piece of hair and I went like that and It was one of those outdoor roaches. Did you hear me screaming from where you lived? Of course my husband could not calm me down. I was that freaked out. Anyway, to make a long story short, we immediately killed it. We got it and put it on a napkin. I taped it to show Jermey, and called him right away.
My husband is ‘what are you doing?’ I said ‘I am so calling Jermey,’ and he came the next day. He explained what happened. It was from the outside… I was doing stuff outside, and he could have come in on me or come in on a package. If it was an indoor ones, like the kind New York gets, which he did educate me on what they look like. I am very familiar, but never seen that. He came right away, and took care of the problem.”
Bulwark has three major branch locations in Texas and one of them is Austin. Austin has moderate winters and humid summers giving ideal living conditions for bugs. Dry spells in Texas lead bugs to migrate into the homes in search of water, food, and shade. An increase in construction also provides better living conditions for pests in Austin.
Austin pests include: fire ants, spiders, scorpions and roaches. Fire ants cause damage to human health, properties, and the environment. The neurotoxin of the black widow spider makes it the most deadly spider in North America. Scorpions will come out at night. Their painful stings and are harmful to young children, the elderly, and those with weak immune systems. Roaches may not bite but they create dangerous conditions as they contaminate the area that they live in.
Bulwark Exterminating is here with a family pest control service. We are an extermination company serving Austin with a money-back guarantee. Our services are specialized as they focus on the pests we find when we evaluate your home. Our methods are backed by the research done by colleges and universities. We want you to have a quality experience with your exterminator and we make sure the problem is solved. Bulwark Exterminating is your source for all of your pest control needs.

Mesa Pest Control
Bulwark Exterminating proudly serves the valley of the sun. One of our branch locations is Mesa, AZ. Arizona has hot summers so pests are going to go inside of homes seeking a cooler place to live. Mesa residents are also constantly building new homes and new sprinkler systems to water their lawns. This provides new water sources for pests to thrive. Bulwark is here to provide a quality solution with a money-back guarantee.
Pests to look out for include: scorpions, roaches, spiders, ants and bed bugs. Scorpions are deadly to small infants and the elderly, and their bites hurt. Cockroaches smell and carry diseases wherever they go. Arizona is home to the black widow spider, the deadliest spider in North America. Ants infest by the thousands, with queens laying eggs everyday. Inspecting your home for bed bugs is a must… Nobody wants the bed bugs to bite.
At Bulwark we have a family pest control service for all of your pest control needs, including the pests already mentioned. If you experience problems with your service call us back and we will spray your home again at no extra charge. In Mesa we also have our nocturnal scorpion service to specifically target the scorpions when they are active. A bulwark is a barrier; we protect your home from invading pests.
