Anytime you live next to a open field, a golf course or a lake you get a lot of little spiders ballooning over to your house they spin a little web in the wind when their babies and the wind picks up that web and carries it to the high tree or to your house where they’ll attach to your house and start to thrive. Eventually they grow up in a way and this is what we have here we have five egg sacs each containing about two hundred ends so while the problem did not originate here they got here and now they’re laying eggs directly on your wall, problem is that these egg sacs, hatch they’re gonna find a way in this window from small cracks or crevices and pressure inside your home.
The next time you see a spider in your shower, be prepared. Have a surefire plan of attack. The following methods are your best weapons to combat an unsightly spider found hiding inside your home.
If you want an effective way to kill a spider, a firearm will get the job done. A .44 caliber Ruger should do the trick.
9. Call Chuck Norris
The truth is, you don’t need a firearm to kill a spider… Chuck Norris is an equally efficient killing machine!
8. Play Carly Rae Jepsen’s, “Call Me Maybe”
If you see a dangerous spider in your home, take the following preventative steps:
Step 1: Put in earplugs.
Step 2: Turn on the radio and find Carly Rae Jepsen’s, “Call Me Maybe.” With as much airplay as that song gets, it should be easy to find playing on some station.
Step 3: Point the speakers in the spider’s direction and watch as it instantly falls to it’s death.
Note: Playing anything by Justin Bieber is also equally effective.
When you see a spider running across your ceiling, grab the nearest can of hairspray. Enough of the sticky spray will freeze that spider in it’s tracks. Even if it doesn’t kill it; the spider will still have great hair.
6. Eat The Spider
A delicious way to kill a spider, assuming the spider is not dangerous, is to eat it. Marinade the spider with some garlic, thyme, olive oil and cayenne pepper; then toss it with some garden fresh arugula. Enjoy!
Many cultures regularly eat spiders, scorpions, and other insects.
5. Smash Spider In An Oreo Cookie
When that unsightly spider is running across your kitchen counter-top, grab your nearby bag of Oreo cookies. Take an Oreo apart, and quickly smash the spider in the Oreo’s cream. On top of killing the spider, you’ll also gain internet fame when you post a photo online claiming that you found the spider inside.

4. Good Old Fashion Boot
You see a spider running across your bedroom floor and you freeze. Don’t panic– Now’s the time to react quickly. A thick-soled, steel toed boot is your best ally at this point. Slip it on, and stomp. Keep stomping! Twenty or thirty times should be efficient.
If you want to try a different strategy with the boot, and have good aim, throw the boot at the spider and run!
3. Make The Spider Sit Through A Phoenix Suns Game
WARNING: Watch a Phoenix Suns game at your own risk… Viewer discretion is advised.
If you want the spider to suffer a slow and painful death, subject the spider to a 2013 Phoenix Suns basketball game. One half of inept basketball should be enough to put the spider out of it’s misery.
If you want an effective way to kill a spider, a flamethrower is one of your best bets. Even though you may risk burning your house to the ground, you know that spider is not coming out of it alive.

Bulwark’s Ant Control Process
Of all insects that infest homes, ants are the most common. Ants are also very tricky pests to control. If you’ve tried to eliminate the pesky invaders yourself, you’ve likely discovered that just because you kill a few ants, you haven’t solved an infestation. Pest control sprays that you purchase at your local hardware store cannot eliminate an infestation.
This frustration has left many homeowners overwhelmed with the scope of their ant problem. You have good reason to contact a pest control professional.
Bulwark Exterminating has a five-step ant control process that is a guaranteed ant control solution.
Bulwark’s Five Step Ant Control Process
Step 1: Inspection. The first step in controlling an ant infestation is a thorough inspection of your property. A Bulwark Pest Control technician will find ant colonies by tracing foraging trails back to their nest. Ants like to travel inside driveway and sidewalk cracks; and along fence lines and foundation walls.
Step 2: Identification. Once a Bulwark Pest Control technician has discovered an ant colony, they will determine exactly what type of ant is infesting your property. Technicians may even collect specimens for positive identification. Each ant species is unique in terms of nesting sites, habits, characteristics and feeding preferences. It’s imperative to understand what type of ant is bothering you, in order to best treat the infestation. It’s important to note that you may be dealing with multiple types of ants, or multiple ant colonies.
Step 3: Recommendation. After inspecting your property, and identifying the type of ant pest, an experienced Bulwark Ant Control professional will recommend a plan of action. Actions will likely include the application of a unique ant control solution, and other non-chemical measures. A Bulwark technician may also recommend trimming vegetation, eliminating moisture problems, removing dead wood, etc. Correcting these conditions will help prevent future infestations. Multiple treatments may be necessary to completely control or eliminate an ant colony.
Step 4: Treatment. Through years of experience and research, Bulwark has established a very effective ant control solution. After strategically applying this solution; non-chemical ant control measures will also be taken to eliminate conditions conducive to ant infestations. Your technician may opt to use ant baits, sprays, and granules in a variety of combinations as the infestation dictates.
Step 5: Evaluation. The key to long-term success in controlling and eliminating ants is to follow up and assess the effectiveness of the measures taken. Additional treatments may be necessary to ensure the ants never come back. With an every-other-month contract, a Bulwark technician will be continually evaluating and treating your home and property for ants.
Get Bulwark’s Ant Control
There are many types of ants that may be infesting your home or property. Some of the most common include: Acrobat ants, Argentine ants, Odorous House ants, Pharaoh ants, Red Imported Fire ants, and Western Carpenter ants. A Bulwark Ant Control technician will be able to identify the type of ant you are dealing with, and know the most effective treatment method for each type. When it comes to ant baits for example, certain ants only like sugar, others starch, others protein, and others change diets based on what time of year it is.
Bulwark Pest Control has come across a very effective ant control solution, only known to a select few pest control professionals. Let Bulwark take control of you home’s ant abatement… You will be glad you did!

The Super Service Award from Angie’s List
The Angie’s List Super Service Award is a prestigious recognition that is awarded each year to the top five percent of service companies for achieving and maintaining high ratings on Angie’s List throughout the previous year. Essentially, the Super Service Award is determined by the customers who rate the services they receive.
This esteemed Super Service Award is highly acknowledged by members of Angie’s List, and the pest control community, because it illustrates Bulwark’s efforts directed toward quality work and customer service.
What is Angie’s List?
Customer review sites have become a go-to for consumers looking to make purchases, and Angie’s list happens to be one of the most frequently used customer review sites. Every month, some 65,000 members write reviews for companies in industries like automotive repair, health care, and home repair.
Customers leave comments for services or products rendered; and rate a company’s professionalism, price, punctuality, responsiveness, quality, and overall experience with letter grades A-F. Reviews come straight from the consumer, and companies cannot pay to be on Angie’s List. Essentially, the Angie’s List awards are voted on by the customer.
On top of leveling the playing field among pest control companies, customer review sites like Angie’s List have given the consumer more power; making them even more influential. A pest control company’s great service, or poor service for that matter, has made it possible for customers to let the entire world know about it.
The vast majority (81%) of all people use consumer reviews in their purchase decisions; and 92% have more confidence in information found online than they do in anything they may hear from any other source.
Bulwark Pest Control Wins Other Awards
While the Angie’s List Super Service Award is highly esteemed, given only to the top five percent of companies, it is not the only customer service award Bulwark has recently received. Bulwark Exterminating has also recently accepted the Best of City Search, Best of Kudzu, and Best of Yelp awards; all while maintaining an A+ rating with The Better Business Bureau. Impressive!

This is a perfect example of how termites have been in the forest for thousands of years before you build your house here these trees in this forest have been around for a long time and the cycle of life which termites recycling the wood is a constant, constant thing they set up camp mainly in dying trees like the one we have here I pulled this off of this stump here they, they’ll this tree has a root system that goes for many, many feet all around this area and has this tree has died the rotting wood is all throughout this area probably even under the house over here. This termite colony that I just pulled up out of this stump is gonna follow those those dead roots everywhere all over the ground. So when a builder comes along and cuts the top off the tree they don’t get all of the roots and those dead roots don’t look like this one because this one has been cut off and you know with the trees here you’ve got roots under the ground into the soil everywhere and enormous populations of termite colonies eating those roots that’s why it’s really important that you set up a barrier around the home we set up the bating system that creates a shield or Bulwark around the your home so that if they do hit the wood on your home they’ll hit our bates first and wipe out colony.
Chimney Pests Attack Santa
Twas the night before Christmas, when we heard in our house
Chimney pests stirring, including a mouse.
Bees built hives inside the chimney with care,
In hopes that they wouldn’t be found living in there.
When up on the roof there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the chimney I flew like a flash,
Only to see bats fly away in a dash.
Inside I heard scurrying as I wondered the cause,
Of the scratching and pawing of tiny rodent paws.
As I stuck in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney a squirrel leaped; he had been found.
It’s then I began to worry if Santa would come
Down a chimney full of pests, now that would be dumb.
I should’ve got pest control, treatment would’ve been quick
Now I’m left worrying if we’ll get a visit from St. Nick.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawing of each reindeer hoof.
As I chased off the squirrel, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
As he emerged from the chimney, my fears were realized
As killer bees swarmed, and began stinging his eyes.
Santa disturbed them, coming down the chimney this night;
I have to hand it to that jolly elf, he put up a fight.
Santa began swinging at the bees with his bag full of toys,
Originally meant for all of the good girls and boys.
With the twitch of his nose, and the wink of an eye,
He magically whisked away the bees, and said his goodbye.
If it wasn’t for Santa’s Christmas magic,
That Christmas may have been a little more tragic.
Next Christmas I’ll be a little more prepared,
I’ll get pest control; Santa needn’t be scared.
