Alpharetta, Georgia is a city located in north Fulton Country. The city is a suburb north of Atlanta. The population is around 57,751 as of the 2010 Census. The name comes from the combination of two Greek words meaning "first town." It was officially charted on December 11th, 1858. The current mayor is David Belle Isle.
